Ever noticed how some songs just DON’T STOP PLAYING in your head OVER AND OVER?
Yeah. Some you like, others you don’t, so it’s actually terribly annoying to hear them in your brain when you’re showering, or walking down the street. Or worse, when you’re trying to fall asleep.
To stop the really bad ones from getting to me, I’ve made a couple of playlists with some great songs so I’m only listening to what I want to hear. I’ll share some of what’s in there with you, and you can tell me if those songs do it for you, or if they’re actually your worst nightmare. You’re also welcome to share your favourites with me 🙂
“Happy” by Pharrell Williams. Especially since those ‘Happy [insert name of city]’ videos came out. I watched 7 or 8 in a row and now it’s stuck in my head. Plus it does make you incredibly happy.
“Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen. I prefer the Alex Boyé tribal version with the children’s choir or the multilingual version.
“Pompeii” by Bastille. This is from the Reign soundtrack, and it’s just… there are no words. I can listen to it over and over again.
“Papaoutai” by Stromaé. The videoclip is hilarious and even though the topic and lyrics are quite serious, it just makes you want to get up and shake it.
“Titanium” by David Guetta and Sia. Although I prefer the Boyce Avenue version.
I have a thing for Olly Murs at the moment, so I listen to “Heart Skips A Beat”, “Troublemaker” and “Dance With Me Tonight” a lot.
“Gloria” by Laura Brannigan. Just awesome.
“Balada Boa” by Gusttavo Lima. No clue what he’s singing about, but it’s just sooo catchy!!
“Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons. Although I LOVE the Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling version.
“Demons” by Imagine Dragons. And “Time”.
“Lieder” by Adel Tawil. I don’t often get hooked on a German singer or song, but this one is great.
“Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus. The video sucks, but the song is powerful.
“Get Lucky” by Daft Punk. This was the song of the summer for me and it still puts a smile on my face whenever I hear it.
“Bara Bara” by Michel Telo. Total booty shaking song.
“Pour une vie, pour un rêve” by Mission Unitaid. Those promotional songs aren’t always good, but this one is really good.
“Parole Oh là” by Brice Conrad. 😀
There’s a million others, but these are the ones I listen to most at the moment. So let’s hear it, what are yours?

The worst is when you’re trying to do a test and the song starts playing in your head!
I love Laura Branigan ….. #RIPLaura
